I am called to share this wonderful form of self-exploration and divination with others. Leveraging my 30+ years of practice, this course will teach you the basics of Tarot, the composition of the deck, and traditional meanings for the cards. This course is designed for people who are new to Tarot, or who have a relatively basic knowledge of the Rider-Waite Smith system. I recommend this to newcomers to Tarot, who have not completed another Lamplighter course and are looking for a simple introduction. It is five (5) weeks long, and each class is approximately two and half (2.5) hours. I limit the number of participants so that we can engage in a good discussions and dig into your questions throughout class. I will teach you about alternative methods of divination, the history of the Rider-Waite Smith style deck, and three segments of the deck: the Major Arcana, the Minor Arcana, and the Court Cards. You will learn to read the cards using traditional and contemporary interpretations, archetypes, symbolism, and your own intuition. We will also cover the ethics of reading Tarot for others. By the end of the course you will feel confident in your interpretations of the cards through whichever approach feels most comfortable for you. You will also be able to use a few basic spreads to read cards for yourself. Additionally, you'll be set up to continue your studies through other esoteric systems such as numerology and astrology!
